Information for Vets
District Veterinary Nursing is a relatively new role to the industry, started by the DVNHub. The aim of District Veterinary Nursing is to work with vets and owners to help improve patient care overall by ensuring treatment plans are followed through once patients leave the consult room.

-
District Veterinary Nursing allows pets to be treated at home therefore reducing stress caused by longer hospital stays and repeated visits to the practice.
-
Patients remain under your veterinary care at all times and I work under your instruction
-
Owners needs and abilities are taken into account when creating care plans for their pets and I am there to support them in fulfilling the patients treatment.
-
I am available to come to appointments with clients who may need my services
-
Comprehensive notes will be emailed to you after each visit
-
Using a District Veterinary Nurse frees up vets and nurses to see more patients in practice
-
I have a certificate in feline nursing from the International Society of Feline Medicine and particular interest in cat friendly care
-
Referral is easy, just complete the Patient Referral Form or you can contact me via email or telephone call.

I would love to come into your practice to discuss what I can offer and how we can work together to improve the care for our patients.
